How to shrink your Shoes to the perfect size?

1. Thick shocks:

thick-shocks-method

One of the easiest ways to fill the extra space in your shoes is to use a pair of thick shocks, especially if your shoes are slightly bigger than your foot’s actual size.

Look for the thickest pair of hiking shocks, or use two to three pairs of thinner shocks before bearing your shoes.

2. Tissue Paper:

Stuff the front of your shoes with tissue paper to reduce the excess space. This will prevent your foot from sliding forward. This technique works well with closed-toe shoes.

3. Double up insole:

If a gap exists between the top of your foot and your shoes, a thicker insole will work best for you. Buying a pair of extra insoles and placing them above the existing sole helps reduce the extra space and ensures a better fit.

4. Heel Strip Pad:

The heel strip pad is the easiest and most effective way to reduce your shoe size. It costs 2 to 3 bucks at the store.

After buying a heel strip pad, all you need to do is Peel off the sticky surface and stick it at the back wall of the heel. It will reduce the shoe size and improve overall fit.

5. Orthopedic insoles:

Buy a pair of orthopedic insoles, stuff them inside your shoes, and you are ready to go. These shoe inserts are designed to provide support and correct foot-related issues.

6. Tongue Pad:

It helps if your shoes are loose around the ankle and heel. Simply remove the cover with the adhesive backing and place it on the tongue of the shoe inside the shoes.

Conclusion:

Shoes shrinking is needed if you bought your favorite pair of shoes that do not fit your foot. By using the simple DIY method mentioned above, you can fit your shoes without putting much effort into them.
